Kingsborough says that they want minimum GPA of 2.5, but in reality they don't accept with that GPA. They probably will accept with minimum GPA of 3.0 from pre-requisite courses and good NLN results. My friend who had overall GPA of 2.7 and pre-requisite courses(A&P I, English 12, Psychology, Sociology, Science 25) GPA of 3.2 and good NLN results got accepted last semester.
Wow that's not bad at all! Kingsborough seems like a great school too!.
Thanks

Hello Malika,
when you say good NLN results what would that be? Thanks
out of all the nursing schools:
bmcc -from my experience they start selecting from 4.0 gpa and they look at the pre-requisite classes ( math 104, eng 101,bio 425, psych 101). they usually stop at 3.8 for day time and 3.77 for evening. they don't have nln pre-entrance exam.
bronx cc- they combine your nln score with your pre-clinical classes. you must have at least a 3.0 on your pre-clinicals, which are (bio23, eng 11, psy 11, cms 11, phm 10) they choose based on your nln score in combination with your gpa.

What is an "NLN" score?
National League for Nursing Entrance Exam. Some schools require that you take this exam.

Whatever you do, don't go to BMCC if you dont have atleast a 3.78 GPA.Even if you have a 3.7 GPA, You won't get in.
MALIKA, what was your friend's composite percentile score?
