I just finished up with my Kaplan course. I have been following Suzanne's plan for quite some time. I am doing well on the cd 70-80's. I test in two days and don't know if it is more beneficial to keep up with my Saunders questions or do the Kaplan test trainers. I like the rationalles more on Saunders but the Kaplan questions are definatley more difficult?? HELP! Any suggestions?
Thanks:uhoh3:

If you are testing in two days, you should be done today with everything. But sorry to say, the biggest mistake that you made was to do the Kaplan Review after my program. It should have been done prior, if at all.
I am finished with everything but would like to use my time to continue to prepare.
I am not sure I understand your Kaplan comment. I have continued to remain strong on my practice cd questions with Saunders. Why is it a problem to have taken Kaplan?
Thanks for your input!

I think you did it perfectly. Suanders does a great job preparing you for the knowledge that you need to know. Personally I think Kaplan does the best job of taking it to the next level and helping you understand how to use that knowledge. I know Suzanne's plan isn't a supporter of Kaplan but many posts have said that the questions were similar to NCLEX and most people tend to say that the questions are a bit more challenging. Good luck to you...how can we say one works better than another, the more opportunities we have to learn the better, right? I have done both and what one lacks the other is strong in.
You are so right. I felt myself start to get slightly freaked out and paniced when I read her reply. I began preparing back in April and have wanted to do everything to set myself up for success. Thanks for the encouragement.
I noticed we test on the same day. Best wishes to you!

You have basically done what I did to prepare for mine. I didn't use Suzanne's plan, but I did utilize the Saunders review book as well as the Kaplan course/questions. I used them at the same time, intermittently. When I felt like Kaplan was getting too hard (and my grades weren't so high), I reviewed Saunders, because it seemed like it had more knowledge-level questions.
This site does not seem to support Kaplan, but personally, I got a lot out of it. I passed with 75 questions! Many more did too, that is why there's a 100% guarantee or your money back with Kaplan reviews.
Good Luck!!!
