I am a RN in Phoenix area(East Valley). My wife now wants to get into nursing school. She is working on her required courses for admission. I wonder which nursing school she can get into fast? Thank youn very much.

Definately not the Maricopa community colleges the wait is ridiculous. I actually don't know of anywhere you can get in "fast."

I think we need more information. Has she finished the pre-reqs for the Maricopa Community colleges? Are you willing to pay private school tuition? If she is just starting out, you could look into a private program like Pima or Apollo. Or if she is interested in a BSN you could look into Chamberlain, Grand Canyon University, ASU, NAU.
No matter what, there isn't anything really fast for an RN program. There are some LPN programs out there that don't require a lot of pre-reqs. This might be her best option. She can always keep going and get her RN later.
Good luck!

Yavapai college in Prescott. When I went there there wasn't a wait list. Either you got in or you didn't. If you didn't you'd just have to retest next time

Thank you for your advice. Yes, she can go to private school as long as she can get in. She just started Anatomy& Physiology 201. I agree we can go to LPN program first, then go into RN. Do you think waiting list is shorter for LPN to get into RN program? Thank you.
