Personally, I'd do the EMT bit because the core knowledge, while basic, is very useful regardless of what you end up doing in your life.
Medical terminology is very easy and something which you could study yourself - and it's not required for many nursing programs.
The EMT certification could win you a job as an ER tech or as an EMT on a rescue squad.
EMS for college credits? Haven't heard that. Usually the certification for an EMT is just that, certification but not credits. Anyway, it's the way I'd go over medical terminology: that's the kind of stuff you get in Nursing 101, there's no "leg up" for learning it ahead of time. If you're talking about an EMT course, though, that IS worthwhile as it's 'hands on' learning, applied skills, etc. Really no tough decision there.
Besides, you'll be learning terminology while taking the EMT class :)

I'm a Junior in high school, and this summer I'm taking classes offered at my local JR college. They'll stay on my college transcripts and count for credits, and I'm wondering which of these classes I should take this summer. They offer Medical Terminology and EMS. My father thinks I should take EMS, but I think Med Term because I'll have more time to focus on the class... I want to become a SANE, or specialize in Pediatrics or NICU/PICU...
Anyways, any advice would be lovely! Thank you!
