Hi everyone..
Can anyone recommend a good drug review book for the NCLEX? I feel like I have everything but that...

I didn't use a separate drug book, just what was covered in saunders/kaplan.

None, don't use any. It's going to pull drugs out of it's butt that you've never heard of. And the one's you have heard of, none of things you know about that drug will be in the answer.
Seriously..I'm not about to go back and start memorizing chemo drugs. Ok..then I guess I won't kill myself with drug review. This is good...most people say no math, so that saves me a whole day of review on it. Drugs are a crapshoot, so I won't waste a bunch of time on that, either. I'll just review the biggies.

try pharmacology by mary ann hogan prentice hall nursing with cd questions, they have a very good prefix and suffix, etc....
anyway, i didn't study drugs deeply, i just wrote it down in every questions i encountered and be sure to review a day before the test. i only knew 6drugs out of 20 drugs on my test, others, i just used the prefix and suffix but some couldn't used it, just to make it safe i answered the safest or the one that can cause death, depending on the questions being ask if safe or death is the issue..... and also if i really can't figure out the right answer then i just answer "after meals" (the safest) :hehe: hahaha! i've read that also (p.c.) some of the post here! hope this helps!!!
god bless and good luck!!! you can do it!
