Which country is better to work as a Nurse - Canada or Australia

Published

I am planning to move to another country but I'm torn between Canada or Australia.

I'm an RN (Phil)and currently in UAE now. I have 2 years experience as a Nurse(KSA) and 4 years experience as an Insurance specialist here in UAE.

But I'm planning to move forward and work as a Nurse again.

So, I want to know which country is better to immigrate or to work.

Can someone tell me the difference between this 2 countries.

Specializes in Medical and general practice now LTC.

Both countries are huge. What do you want out of your move?

Specializes in NICU, PICU, PCVICU and peds oncology.

Either way you've got several hurdles in front of you. How current is your nursing experience? 4 (or more) years is a long time to be out of the field. Are you prepared to return to school and update your education? You probably won't have an easy time finding a job in Canada. Ontario, as an example, won't let you as an IEN become registered without proof of current nursing experience and a job offer. Many employers won't hire you without registration already in hand. It's a Catch-22. You need to be prepared for the process to take years, and to be both frustrating and expensive.
