Which cities if any are hiring new grad ADN RNs in inner city hospitals?

Just doing a little research, and am wondering where in the states are the best opportunities for ADN RNs? Upon completion of my program I will be open to relocating, and would like to get experience in an inner city hospital while pursuing my BSN part time. I am partial to the east coast, south and Midwest, but would consider any location. The only thing I'm not interested in is a suburban setting. I would even consider rural, if the location was right. If you have any info, please share. Thanks!

This ^^^ characterizes rural nursing. Seriously. Rural nurses deal with fewer resources but are held to the same standards of crisis management/intervention (ACLS, etc) as everyone else. They are masters of innovation and creativity - competent in just about all clinical areas, including subbing in for ancillary services as needed. IMO, a rural setting would be great preparation for the OP's ultimate career goal.

Thank you very much for your post! i have been researching rural nursing on here and elsewhere, and it sounds like a really good fit for me. i have excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills and need constant challenge and change, else i get really bored. i'm very self directed and independent and flourish in an environment where there is a lot of diversity in regards to my responsibilities....Thanks again! you have given me excellent food for thought :)

Charlottesville University of Virginia is hiring new grads but they generally prefer BSN. BUT--if you are in a BSN program they will interview you I am pretty sure.
