Which would be better while attending Nursing school?

Published

I was looking to add to my Cna to get better opportun. cna ies and some advancement. I'm in Nc and we have Cna ll here and the course is $700 and the other is phlebotomy which is $400. I've been a CNA for 3 years but still barely making enough and I just want to be "OK" until I'm finished with school. If you know the benefits as far as pay and what good it'll do as far as being a nurse please let me know. Any advice is welcome TIA!

Ps sorry for posting here its not that much traffic in Cna section.

In my area, phlebotomists are paid the same low wages as CNAs. Unless you get hired in a hospital. Both CNAs and phlebotomists get paid pretty well there.

Vintagemother, I want to get in the hospital and hope one of the two will increase my chances. I think I'll do the Cna all, do you know how much they.make at the hospitals?

In my area, hospital cnas (Union) start at 16-23, depending on the particular hospital system.
