Hepatitis B titer low?
I asked my Dr to run a test for hepatitis b and c. Hep C came back negative. The test he ran was called Hepatitis B surface ab quan. Beside the test was listed 8.3...which I'm guessing is low. Here's the stressful part. I've worked in a nursing home for two years tons of hepatitis . And my job didn't give me the vaccines at the time because they asked me was I ever vaccinated and I told them a few years ago and they wouldn't do it. So young and dumb I just went with the flow. Does a low titer and being a healthcare worker not protected means I'm at huge risk? I asked for a hep b test but he didn't do it only the titer. I'm asking because I'm wrecking my nerves and I don't hear from my Dr until Monday ...thanks

Which would be better while attending Nursing school?
I was looking to add to my Cna to get better opportun. cna ies and some advancement. I'm in Nc and we have Cna ll here and the course is $700 and the other is phlebotomy which is $400. I've been a CNA for 3 years but still barely making enough and I just want to be "OK" until I'm finished with school. If you know the benefits as far as pay and what good it'll do as far as being a nurse please let me know. Any advice is welcome TIA! Ps sorry for posting here its not that much traffic in Cna section.

Any nursing assistants???
The written part is easy. I failed the skills my first time but passed the second. I was really nervous. If you have the handout that will be most helpful and updated videos for your state on YouTube. All the best
