I loved the Kaplan review book. The Saunders review books were okay, too.

I don't know about Kaplan because all I had was the Saunders Comprehensive and the Saunders Q&A New Format books. Neither one prepared me for what my test was like. The only thing I can tell you is to use them as study guides to brush up on certain subjects and to get used to sitting at the computer for the minimum and the maximum questions. The Saunders book DOESN'T GIVE YOU PRIORITY ?'s (who would you see first?). When I took my test last week (I passed), at least 85% of my ?'s were priority. In my opinion, YOU CANNOT STUDY FOR THIS FINAL EXAM; ALL YOU CAN DO IS TRY TO BRUSH UP ON YOUR WEAK AREAS AND EVEN THAT IS NO GUARANTEE THAT YOUR TEST WILL FOCUS ON THAT AREA. My weak area was and still is pharm, but when I sat face to face with the computer, it was different story. I ended up with MAYBE 4-5 pharm ? So, with that, DO THE BEST YOU CAN WHEN THAT DAY COMES! Like all here at Allnurses, I WILL BE ROOTING FOR YOU!
