Can someone tell me where I can find that chart I saw on here a few months ago that ranks all of the states for RN salaries (taking cost of living into consideration)? Thanks!

thats a great chart, however, it is also from 2004. I wonder how the rankings and salaries have changed since then.
Although, I am very happy to see that North Carolina is ranked much better after the cost of living is taken into consideration. Thats where I plan on going once I complete my RN degree.
I wonder if there is an updated salary chart? If anyone knows, please let me know. Thanks!

You can compare 2 cities using the following website:

Or you could look at books such as Best Places to Retire.
You can search on the web for salary information. Using the search phrase "RN salary comparisons" I found several websites that would give helpful info. However, I've found the salaries listed may not be correct for all hospitals in the area. So if you have specific towns in mind, track down the hospitals in those towns and call HR to find out salaries.
The following website allows you to compare your current salary in your current town to another town, and also compares cost of living in the 2 towns. I found the salaries listed to be pretty accurate for the towns I have personally checked out further.
