Just passed my nclex on july 20 and I can't seem to find an answer as to how long it should take to issue my license. My status just says submitted but I don't know what that means. If anyone could offer me some insight that would be great. I'm in ohio
Hey there, I'm an LPN. But I have had recent experiences with the OBN in waiting for my licensure by endorsement to go through.
For an entire month i checked everyday and it still only said "submitted." I finally got a hold of someone from the OBN via email, she we very helpful and kept in communication with me until everything was finalized. I was informed that there might be longer than usual wait times for any licensing needs at this time because they have been making lots of changes to the electronic system as well as the way they process requests, etc. Although I'm not in the same exact boat as you, I'll just say that it took 1.5 months from start to finish to get my license. Another thing is, the status will change from "submitted" to "pending" when they actually start to process it. The pending status for me lasted one week.
The email address for licensure inquiries is: [email protected]
I hope all goes well and you get your license soon! Congrats on becoming an RN!

Yes it was. I was freaking out and they said it was just because my results hadn't been processed yet.
