Where's my license?

Just passed my nclex on july 20 and I can't seem to find an answer as to how long it should take to issue my license. My status just says submitted but I don't know what that means. If anyone could offer me some insight that would be great. I'm in ohio

i just took the test 7/23... no results for me yet. But I knew someone who took it 7/11 and didn't get results until 7/16. With the whole system conversion they are running into delays.. At least we have quick results in Ohio so it could always be worse..

Thanks for your reply. I did the pvt and got the good pop up then did quick results. I was just worried I messed up on paperwork along the way. Plus I can't seem to find any information on how often they update the site.

They converted their nursing website in the middle of summer. So, peak season when they are backed up on license processing already with new NCLEX takers by the day.

I cannot get them to answer my call or website email to communicate.

Ohio hasn't updated Nursys since June 20, it's July 25. Other states as an example for today have been updated within the last 3 business days.

This is plainly stated information, please interpret as you see fit.

I'm not sure why I would need to interpret your information? I did see that they haven't updated nursys and I know the update was supposed to be completed July 1.

I also received a return email this afternoon from a board member who told me they have not processed my results and that is why my status says submitted.

Hi, I didn't mean to actually suggest that any interpretation was actually needed. I was trying to find a nice way to say I hope my post doesn't read too negative through the internet, although I wish things with them were a little smoother.

How did you get Ohio BON to respond to your email? Did you use the email form on their website?

Sorry, I appreciated the info. I got an email from a board member about my eligibility a few weeks ago so I just replied to that.

I have heard of a few people getting the Ohio BON to respond to email. Back when I was waiting for my ATT I couldn't get through by phone or email after multiple attempts.. Unfortunately we have little recourse in this situation. They are ultimately the gatekeepers of the nursing profession and if they're underfunded/incompetent about getting things posted, we have to wait a few extra weeks/months.

I also passed the nclex on July 20 and still no license number and the obn site still shows submitted. And still no response to my email

I just got them Friday afternoon so hopefully yours will post soon.

I hope so this wait is dreadful! I even called pearson to make sure everything was submitted to the board!

Was your status stuck on submitted?

Was your status stuck on submitted?

Yes it was. I was freaking out and they said it was just because my results hadn't been processed yet.
