Hi! I am a new grad RN and I was hired directly into Hem/Onc specialty at Seattle Children's Hospital. I am in love with my job, love my nursing coworkers, the doctors, the hospital, especially the patients. It's an amazing place to be... I've always heard that your first job can make or break you, I'm positive this is the job for me. :) :redbeathe
Hey Jess!
Well I love Akron Children's. Akron is pretty metropolitan, but has a great night life... but I live in Canton (it only takes me about 15 min to get there)- about the same size but more suburban, lots of shopping/restaurants, and a "downtown" still...I grew up here and never thought I'd miss it, but I came back to it!
PS- CHOP? are you refering to Cleveland? (Cleve also has Rainbow Babies- I've only heard good things from , and Cleveland is a much bigger city with a huge rural and suburban area)
Hey guys! I am work at Childrens Healthcare of Atlanta (3 diff atlanta locations, I work at Scottish Rite)
Its a great place to work and its rated the #3 pediatric facility in the nation. Staffing is short right now and has added some frustration but I think that is pretty much anywhere at this point. Would def recommend someone to at least look into if Atlanta may be a location they would be interested in.
