  1. I want to thank everyone for their inputs
  2. Hello I have just started my career as a LTC about a month ago. I came from a peds hospital. In the month I have been there, I have notice there is NO Teamwork among any of the staff:mad:. I would like to hear what you do at your place to encourage everyone to work together. I would like to have a program in place to recognize staff that go above their job duties. What does your LTC do? Tammy in OHio
  3. Akron Childrens Float RN here :heartbeat:nurse:
  4. I currently live in Alliance. THe hosptial is trying to improve the care that is being done there. It is a small town hospital. It deals with simple cases/illness. It takes time to change the way people have of a hospital. I gave birth to my son at Alliance and had the best care I possible can. PM me if you have any questions. Tammy
  5. I live about 50 minutes from my job. I am a new grad (June 06) and on day shift. I have looked at hospitals that are closer but they are only offering night shift and I dont want to give up my day shift postion so I guess I will take the drive.
  6. Good morning. I just graduated from school on 6/25, took the NCLEX 7/31 and passed. I was hired at Akron Children's and I have a diploma. Good luck with your search.
  7. I have around 88-89 questions. I had alot of peds, infection, prioritizing and just 1 all that apply, no math.I was done in 1 hr. I felt comfortable when I left. Now the hard part is the waiting.:zzzzz
  8. Found out that it was for a medical exam not nursing.:rotfl:
  9. I was wondering who all was taking the test on Monday July 31? I have been doing questions everyday about 150 of them. I found another site for questions. I was like:eek: If the NCLEX is anything like this, Man I am in trouble. I got 7/30 right. I just done know anymore. I had a dream that I passed at 139 question.
  10. I will focus on the number that i am getting correct in a row. I will focus on getting more in a row. I never really get stressed out on test. I feel that i am taking test to get the concepts down on how to answer the questions. While in school I could take a test and feel good about and pass it. I got to the point of thinking the test were not so bad. I asked if I was ready is because I see others taking test and geting similar test scores. I feel that I should be getting higher score. That is all. I do feel that I will pass it. TIA Tammy
  11. 8/7 get it done and over with sooner.
  12. Hello everyone. I graduated on June 25, took a week long review course, had a Mosby test in school which i recieved a 76% to pass the boards. We also did the Arnett testing the passing rate was .2800 my score was .48. I have been doing questions everyday aleast 150 and scoring around 69-76%. I am scared that these scores are not high enough to pass the boards. I am using the Incredibly Easy Q&A, the Drexel Excel program, and Sandra Smith Review for NCLEX_RN. I am scheduled to take the test on 7/31. just one week away. BTW- I am not spending all day studing. I will study for about 2-3hrs per day which includes the question. SO do u think I am ready to PASS the boards next week? TIA
  13. Dont worry about about finding a job. I went on about 8 interviews before I got the JOB that was best for me. I figured out what I was doing wrong and corrected on the last two interviews.
