Where are the spring "waiters"???

Are you still trying to get into nursing school...good grief I thought you were in and almost out. This kinda surprises me..Anyway good luck to you I am applying at TCC in Jan for the new fast track program .....

It sounds like some schools have already sent their letters out, but unfortunately neither of mine have. :) So, where did you apply to and when should you find out??
UT Arlington - end of October
TCC - end of November (I was on their alternate list last semester before I took micro and earned an A, so I'm not as worried about this one)

The new fast track program? I haven't heard anything about that.

I applied to El Centro/Northlake. Letters are supposed to go out on Oct 13!

Hi,

I am also a Spring "waiter". I have applied to the UT Health Science Center here in San Antonio. October is interview month and mine is scheduled for the 25th. It's an all day affair which includes testing. I am a little nervous, but very excited. I just hope it all works out. Admission also means finding childcare for my youngest which I find a little daunting.

yeppers ,at TCC . Applications are being accepted starting in Jan. It is for LVN's , paramedics and EMT's. There is something about testing out of the first semester courses then you jump in with the generic students.

The new fast track program? I haven't heard anything about that.
I applied to El Centro/Northlake. Letters are supposed to go out on Oct 13!

I am waiting to see if I got in Spring semester too, at El Centro. From what I hear, they sent the letters out today and I should know by tomorrow or Saturday.

I have applied for Spring 07 at San Jac Central ADN.

Deadline for applications is Nov. 1st, and supposedly letters go out two to three weeks after the deadline. I turned in my application over a month ago, so I'm ready to hear!!

Any news from El Centro???

Everyone on the boards seems to have gotten their letters (and were accepted!)

However, my letter never showed up. I called, and they told me I had to wait for the letter until Oct 26 before they would tell me anything. Sadly, according to the cutoff in the letters of the accepted, I barely missed it. Hopefully enough people will go to other programs and I am close enough to the top of the wait list.

It's been very frustrating.

(((Huge hugs))), I'm sorry. I can't imagine how frustrating the wait must be for you. It's one thing to wait for a decision that hasn't been made, but totally different to wait for one you should have already gotten. I hope you get the good news you are waiting for soon!!
