Where is my license???

I took it and passed on August 6th. Also waiting for my license. The good news is that you passed. Hang in there, it will come. Though I have friends that took it after me and got their license. I checked PearsonVue a couple of times to make sure my eyes wasn't deceiving me. I know I passed but I just want to see the actual license in hard copy in my hand. I guess we'll just have to wait. Hang in there.

thanks! the thing is that i just got a job with mollen immunization clinics and they need me to send a copy of my license!! AND i need to start working asap !

I'm waiting in CT. Passed my NCLEX and was listed on the state license 1st week in July. I'm looking to relocate and I need my license to do so. Very, very irritated

FernaRN09, you should try calling the bon i called today and i guess my license had been sent out but was returned back for some reason! so they are sending it again....

I did and what the oh so pleasant person told me, "we print in batches. you should be out the week of8/10. I know the post office is having fiscal issues but really. I just want my license so I can leave this place. Thanks for the thoughts though

I live in Texas and maybe we are different but our instructor told us that they do not issue paper licenses anymore and that the employer verify's on the BON website. Anyone have any info about this? :confused:

Came in the mail yesterday. Yeahhhh. So, so excited.

I received my license number the next day, took a few weeks to get my paper license.

That being said your license should never leave home, never photocopy your license or let others photocopy it. It is way too easy to steal someone's license by getting a copy of it.

Using the online BoN verification is the standard here in AZ. I made the mistake of bringing my physical license to an interview and when the DoN found out I got an ear full...she "counciled" me for some time with the above advice.

Bug out, thanks for the advice...that sure makes sense...the thing is that Mollen immunization clinics requires that we photocopy our license and fax it to them...so i have no choice..its part of the hiring paperwork..

Your license...personally if I was you I would print out the online verification of your license and fax it to them with my ID lol.

lol...that is exactly what my husband told me to do because my license was taking forever to get here! i got it yesterday..so i'm happy now:) MOllen actually did check online and verified that i did have an active license...once they verified that i did have a license then they offered the job...BUT they still want a photocopy of my license..wierd huh?
