Where are all the jobs in Delaware?

Published

Specializes in ED, Rehab, LTC.

Just curious..Are there many other new grads having a hard time finding jobs? I am trying to get into a hospital in DE and have even been trying places in MD and PA. NO luck-they all want acute care experience. Once December comes around I think it will be even harder because of all the new nurses that will be applying for jobs when they graduate.

So does anyone have advice? I am really frustrated.

Thanks,

Me

First off - congrats on finishing school. I just graduated also and I'm finding a lot of hospitals want people with experience also.

Thank you!

Congrats to you also!!!!

I recently graduated and am having a hard time finding a job, too. I'm thinking about getting my PA license.

I graduated in May and I'm still looking. I also have thought about getting a PA or NJ license...

I know that Bayhealth has a hiring freeze on right now.

Specializes in ICU.

I live in Arizona and things are just as bad here. There are tons of nursing programs. You should read some posts on the AZ column. Things are bad in CA and NV too as far as I know.

Things are also very bad in Boston!
