Hey it's me, go to the student section and you can talk to the people who are starting to take the pre-reqs are. First become a CNA, then start taking your pre-reqs.

You don't HAVE to be a CNA, check out some schools and see if they require it first (unless you just want to be a CNA), and start taking pre reqs. You could meet with a school advisor to point you in the right direction.

I agree. Only take a CNA course if you wish to work as a CNA -- it's not required for nursing school.
I think the first thing to decide is if you want to do the ADN route or the BSN route. Then decide what school you'll go to, and contact an academic advisor there for advice.

Retake your ASFAB (I don't know if I spelled that correctly) if your score wasn't high enough for the Army nursing program. You will owe the military more time, but they will send you to San Antonio for school/training. Get recommendations from your 1st Sgt and CO to help your packet. I believe you will be a LVN when you are finished and then you can continue to go to school for your RN. That is one way to get through school and still have an income. If you want to get out of the military, then the above posts are a good source of info.
