DME = durable medical equipment. There is a vent class given by LifeCare Solutions in Pasadena. It costs $25. Another one, I believe, is given by one of the hospitals downtown, not sure, but it may be Cedars-Sinai. Check the staff education link on the various hospital websites and you can find it.

im from san diego and i took me a long time to find a good place where to get ventilator certified and the only place i found was americanheartclasses.com they have pretty good group deals mike was really nice and didnt mind answering all my questions regarding prices and things like that, the class was given by paul who didnt even leave a single doubt in my head! really good instructor

I am having problems getting a job and eventhough, I found one they are requiring me to get a ventilator certification. Where do I find those programs or classes to get a ventilator certification program? please help me. I am a new grad and recenlty passed the boards. very desperate need of a job to pay off my school loans. this certification is the only way to assure me of finding a job here in california. I need to find one here somewhere in california, between LA and san diego. thank you.
