I have always thought that I wanted to work CCU and go onto be a CRNA - I am in my 3rd semester of school and we just had out psych clinical. I really enjoyed them and was able to make a big impression in a patient's life, although I'm not sure that I am emotionally "tough" enough to handle that everyday it was a great feeling. When and how did you decide where you wanted to start as a new grad?

I just graduated in May. I wanted either burns or oncology. Truth is I was only able to find one part time job in what I thought I wanted. As I interviewed, I learned about other areas by applying to jobs that specified "New Grads Welcome." I found something I hadn't considered and actually really like.
Only two people in my class got their dream specialty. I wouldn't say to take the first job offer, but to be open to other opportunities.
Best of luck to you.
