Where can I take a Med Terminology class online??

I'm in Fort Worth. Been trying to take Medical Terminology at TCC-south for several semesters now - but that class fills up almost instantly. Its not a required class for me - but it sure would be helpful. I want to take it online.

you can either wait until the drop date and see if you can get a spot them or look into vct (virtual college of texas, info is located in the distance learning section of the tcc website) . i would bet money you can get a med term class on there...

Yeah, any time I know I'm going to take an online class, I sit at my comp until midnight or w/e time registration first starts and sign up for the class. It's crazy how fast they go. But yeah... I would do what txspadequeen921 recommended if you plan on wanting to take it at TCC... Just wait until the drop date and hope that a position opens...

I took it online at Collin County Community College. I also think they have it Grayson County Community College. Good luck!

You might also look at Alvin Community College. I think the EMS Coordinator (Doug Stevenson) has set up an online medical terminology class.

Grayson's is not exclusively online. You have to go to campus for all tests. Thought you should be aware because that is a hefty drive from Tarrant County.

Actually if you take the class at Grayson, the instructor will send your tests to your local colleges testing center and you can take your tests there. Some of the instructors mail them and some fax them, it depends upon their preference and the preference of the receiving school. I did this for instructors all the time when I was the communications specialist there.

And in the strange event that you don't have a college within a reasonable drive, they can also send your test to a minister/priest etc. who will agree to proctor the test.
