Where to buy Petite Scrubs

Published

Hello,

I'm somewhat new to this site. I got my first RN job and am in need of scrubs. Does anyone know of a store in Southern California where I can buy petite-sized scrubs? Preferably in orange county or the inland empire. I am about 5 foot, 100 pounds and am struggling with finding scrubs that fit me. I have different brands of scrubs from Life Uniform but they are all pretty baggy, so I would like to find something that fits me better. A few suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

I purchase my petite scrubs online.

You did not indicate where in southern CA you are located, but there's PAC Uniforms in Cerritos: 13336 Alondra Boulevard.

Sorry if this is obvious, but since this is your first RN gig...Be certain to verify your employer's uniform policy before shopping. They could be very specific. My wife is petite and she finds that the Koi brand fits well but sometimes has had to wait for the brick-and-mortar uniform store to order her size.

I can usually buy my petite scrubs in store. I've never had an issue. I like Koi and Cherokee.

I like Buttersoft stretch. I probably am a size bigger than you in pants (5'2", ~115 typically, bit of a booty, small petite). I love the 9 pocket pant. I'm significantly smaller on top. The XS shirt fits with a little bit of room to move, and the one I have is the stretch 5 pocket, I believe (has a small pocket at the left breast, great for my ID).

A lot of websites make allowances for returns and their discount pricing might make up for any return fees they may request. I know it's not ideal, but in a pinch, it works!

Moved to the Nursing Scrubs forum.

I would buy koi brand. I am 5' also, but 115lbs. They fit me well. I bought them offline. The petite xs should fit you.

I bought the Grey's Anatomy top and HeartSoul petite bottoms, both of which fit me perfectly. Plus, they're comfy.

I like I like the Buttersoft Stretch range too, I get them online from Uniform Advantage, ftr I'm 5'2".

Congrats on the new job! As Wile E Coyote mentioned, be careful that the scrubs you get match your employers uniform policy.

As ixchel brought up, buying online is often helpful for tougher to find sizes. Many sites offer free shipping over a certain amount and some even offer free returns so I would give that a shot if you have trouble buying locally.
