When to start studying for TEAS?

Nursing Students TEAS

Published

Hi guys,

Right now I'm 90% done with all my prerequisite classes at a cc and am in the process of transferring to a new university in fall 2012. I'm planning on applying for nursing program spring 2013. I have never taken the TEAS so I am TOTALLY new to this, but I am freaking out because I heard so much about it! I attempted to do a practice test that I found online, but I was completely baffled &felt so dumb because I couldnt answer the math/ science questions:eek:!!

So I am seeking advice from you guys, since you're all so knowledgeable: When is a good time to start studying for the TEAS? When did you guys start? How long did you guys study until you first attempted the test?

Any suggestions/ comments/ expectations I should know for the confused individuals like me?!!

Thanks for reading guys!!!!!:D

Get the book. The questions are similar. Don't worry and get stuck on any ONE type of problem, just keep studying and focus on areas you need work on. Take the practice tests and find out what needs work.

also the online practice test with answers are very helpful...lots of them...just google teas practice test questions.

thanks all for such good advice! really helps me a lot:)

I was also wondering, does anyone know about how many problems you are allowed to miss to get at least over 90 percentile for each section (math, science, reading, english?)
