Just curious...I don't graduate until May 2013, but I bought the Saunder's Comprehensive Review, and tried the CD today...I did the Assessment quiz and got 64%. We have not done OB or Peds yet(that's Fall/Winter) so I was mostly guessing on those portions or going off from what I knew about those areas....

I don't think it's ever too early to start prepping for The Beast. Our school encouraged us to do NCLEX style questions in a recommended Q&A book in sections/content we were covering for the week. Our schools recommended book was Davis...but I barely touched it. Lol...The curriculum was crowded enough with two labs, a three hour lecture every other day and regular clinical then our 100 hour preceptorship experience senior year!!
But if you can find time in your busy schedule, answering as many NCLEX questions that you can get your hands on will be to your benefit!
I started studying the week after graduation and for a full month using Kaplan and a few other review question books. Passed first try with 75Q. The main help was taking school seriously and really learning my material - some of my classmates were scrambling during our schools "Kaplan Bootcamp Week" trying to grasp onto certain drugs and even basic lab values and EKG readings. Some even fluid and electrolytes!
- that's something we learned our first week of school two years ago! I was kid of shocked...
Anyway...Learn your material well through school so prepping for the boards is just a review (not full blown learning) and really just having to practice to perfect your answering of questions. Best of luck to you!! :)
