When is a nurse considered experienced?

Hey everyone!

I'm needing some help finding some resources and articles that describing a timeframe when nurses go from new to a specialty, to experienced in this specialty.

I'm needing some hard evidence to present to my manager.

If a nurse can meet the eligibility criteria to write the certification exam in the specialty, then the nurse can be considered experienced in the speciality.

Good judgment comes from experience. Experience comes from a lot of bad judgment.
