If you interview for a position do you always get a rejection notification by email or phone?

Im asking because I have a couple of job interviews and I am waiting on one job to call back ( hopefully with an offer).

And for those who got job offers how long after your final interview did you get a job offer.

I hate the waiting game but Im glad to be getting some interviews.

Specializes in Telemetry.

I usually get a rejection notification within a day or two...:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Specializes in Psych ICU, addictions.

When I was hunting, I'd either get the rejection via e-mail or letter.

When I did land the job, I think it was a week or two before I got called in for preemployment screening and drug tests, which pretty much was a "you're hired pending the results." It took two weeks after that for everything to get completed and for me to get the official offer.

I waited 3 weeks after an interview. I then called them since I had not heard back. HR told me that they hired someone the week before, so no they don't always call back..
