So I have told you all of my struggle dealing with my issues over some documentation problems. I am fighting to not have to do TPAPN because I really don't need it. I really didn't divert medications.
I feel like I'm in limbo again. The first time after I was fired and now because I'm working 2 jobs and I need advice.
If all else fails and I have to do TPAPN will I be able to keep both jobs? Anybody know?
Also how would you recommend I notify my employer?
Anybody ever fight this and win?

I have never heard of anyone fighting it and winning but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened. Sorry that I don't have better news for you.

In Florida it is basically the same. No sense in trying to fight it. After spending nearly 10K I still ended up with a 5 year contract and had my license suspended for 1 year.
I had 2 evaluators who were IPN approved both stating I did not need to be in IPN. IPN sent me to another evaulator who basically told IPN everything they wanted to hear and BINGO, 5 year contract.
My life has and was tossed like a salad. No one cares. These programs are out there to protect the safety of the general public. I totally understand that. But also think about all the professionals who need to be in these programs, who are placed in theses programs and lie about everything. There are 4 nurses in my weekly support group who have done nothing but play IPN.
1 who is basically upset with the world and everything is always someone elses fault. Yet this nurse doesn't understand why she can't do what she wants when she wants and blames everyone else when she gets into trouble because she doesn't follow the rules of IPN.
Another one of the nurses finally got busted using. That nurse throught she could use drugs the day after she UDS and everything would be ok. She thought this because she normally tested twice a month and had not test twice in one week for a long time. Well a little call solved that issue. Everyone could see this nurse was stoned at the weekly support group.
Another nurse thought since they were being monitored for drugs they could drink. Nope. Local PD stopped that.
Final nurse just thought they were smarter than everyone on the planet. That nurse was busted diverting finally. The diversion had been going on for months. No one has yet to figure out how the UDS were being passed. But never the less that nurse went down. Problem with that nurse, it was the 4th relapes. Yes, 4th and nothing major ever happen. Finally that nurse was order to rehab.
So basically this is why the state programs don't play. It really wasn't until I see things that I understood why. So am I still upset that I have to deal with IPN for 5 years? Nope. I have nothing to hide. I know the truth and that is all that really matters in my eyes. So I have to pee in a cup a couple of times a month, go to a support meeting and education meeting. No sweat in my book when I think that I could have had my license totally pulled and never nurse again.
So I'll keep my mouth shut, walk in line with my hands behind my back like a good little girl for the remainder of my contract.
As for working more than one job. Not sure in your state, but since most programs semi run the same. I'll say nope. They will not allow it. You might be able to hold a nursing and a non-nursing job, but not 2 nursing jobs.
Wish you the best of luck. And remember.. The truth will set you free.
