ei.... guyz...
marami ng 2nd courser taking up nursing!
but some may not always know that there's a hilarious side of going back to school....... for example.....
1.being mistaken as the professor!
2. being called "Ate" or "Kuya" (Hate this.....really!!!)
(term for : "Ate" - older sister......."Kuya" - older brother
3. being picked as the leader of your group (always!!! - even if you have some violent reaction!)
4. being nominated and elected as the "president" of your class.
5. frontliners of any discussion that was really the idea of your younger classmates....who doesn't have the nerve to ask the question themselves........
6. watching how your UP DILIMAN - CUM LAUDE classmate won a debate with your Clinical Instructor over a RATIONALE! (thus, giving the question a bonus point!)
7. watching the trembling fingers of your professor while delivering his speech over a whole class of second courser..... 6 of which graduated CUM LAUDE from a very reputable school!!!!
8. The famous line of your professor "Second courser na kayou dapat alam nyo na yan......." (You're a second courser.......you should know that!)
9. Assigning the most dreaded Clinical Instructor to your section for no other professor would take your section other than them.......
okay....... guyz........ its ur turn.....
share ur kalokah (Crazy!!!) experience!!!! :kiss

I wasnt a second courser but I was one of the eldest in my class (although everyone thought i was same age as them bec. of my looks...lol)..yep, had to do all the extra duties to the point that can drive me nuts...i hated being voted 'chairman' every year, but i did the duty to the best that I could...beacuse I had to.
Sometimes, I hated second coursers because they were always cocky...especially those who were cum laude or the Doctors...because they always think they know everything, and they interrupt the instructors in discussions, disrupting that beautiful flow information into my brain... Once, my NCM instructor came into class in a foul mood because a couple of the 'Doctors' cornered him at the hall and debated to him that the answer to the Comprehensive Exam was wrong and they were right (based on their md practice), even though our instructor based the question and the rationales on two different sources...ugh! Just because they're doctors, it doesnt give them the right to disrespect an Instructor... this is Nursing, not medicine, and as far as status, when you're wearing the school uniform, you're a student...
