The Md board of nursing is crazy! You have to call inside lines to actually get to speak with someone. Here is the website I used: http://www.mbon.org/main.php?v=norm&p=0&c=contact.html I would just call the different numbers even if it doesn't apply to your situation and at least you can get transfered.
Arrrgh! The Maryland Board of nursing main number has no one manning the phones. I have to press 1-8. When I try to get anywhere, I get this message: "This phone line is open from 8:30 - 5PM..." Then it HANGS up on me!! I'm waiting to get my initial CNA and it's been two months. Nobody's gotten back to me and apparently, there's nobody to help. Frustrated.
Goodluck. Try going there. You will wait and they will be extremely rude to you. This organization is ridiculous.
Are you waiting for the 90 day letter or the license. I think it took me like a month to get the letter, and I mailed everything to them directly.
And there are huge waiting lines at the actual office. I went there to get an application, and it took almost 2 hours til they got to me. When you go, get there early, make sure you sign in, and pick up one of the number tab things, because they do it in order. Oh, and make sure you go to the CNA office, not the RN office. There was a person there that waited over an hour at the CNA office instead of the RN office and she only found out once they called her number.
Hi Everyone,
I hope someone can help me. I am desperately trying to reach MD BON thru phone call but no one answers. I can't go to their office since I currently live in the Philippines.
I have successfully completed the NCLEX-RN under the state of NEVADA in 2005. They never issued a license because they require a SSN to do so. I have a job offer from the University of Maryland. My question is, how can I be licensed under the state of MD? Can I endorse my NCLEX results to Maryland? Thanks
