An MRA is an MRI that looks at arterial/venous vasculature.

Specializes in Emergency.

MRI = Magnetic Resonance Imaging

MRA= Magnetic Resonance Angiography

Also if its your critical patient at least a couple hours in a loud noisy place. Not a good patient to have when battling a migraine let me tell you.
