What's your chance to find a hospital job with clinical experience?

Published

I may have a clinical job, but I do not know a clinical experience is considered as experience and whether it will help me to get a hospital job in the future. Any thoughts everybody?

Hiring managers look for experience that 'matches' the position that they are trying to fill. Or, at the very least, they look for matching skill sets. Here's an off-the-wall example: A person with extensive call center experience has undoubtedly built some expertise in managing customer communications.... so this type of experience may be considered by a manager who is trying to fill an admission nurse position. Most likely, hiring managers look for experience in the same type of job with the same level of responsibilities.

Thanks so much HouTx. I believe any experience helps for now. More I think about the clinic job more I feel to love it since the stress level is so difference than the hospital.
