  1. I have worked in hospice company for half year and are overwhelming by work overloaded. What should I do? Any advices? Half year experience is good enough for me to land another job? Guys, any inputs are welcome. Thx a lot!
  2. Go online and search for IV certification, and I believe there are a lot of places offer a class for that. I have done my research online, and I find a lot of places. Some places offer a class every month, so I do not think you need to wait for too long to get one. Just register your class and tell your employee you have done such; I do not think it will become a problem for you being hired.
  3. Thx a lot, and I am going to explore into it because I really do not want to mess up with my license.
  4. Anybody knows which job is better for working in a hospital job or hospice facility? Which job carries less risk to lose your license? Thx
  5. I even did not know when they taking the applications for the program. I am even volunteer in the hospital. Is the application still open?
  6. Good luck for your in person interview!!
  7. You are not alone. I think sometimes others just got the luck to get hired in the hospital settings. I had one classmate just applied for three hospitals and got two interviews and got hired in second one. How is she different than others? She did not have any working experience, and that is her first job ever, so what left for us to say now, pure luck. She applied the every position in that hospital even it required for one year experience, and I did the same thing too, but I never got the interview. What can I say? No luck for me. That is it. It is not who you are or what kind experience you have, or where you got your degree, just simply you are not lucky enough to get hired as soon as possible.
  8. May I ask which state you are living now? And south you mean the southern part of USA? Thanks and congratulation on your job!!!
  9. I think most of hospitals require you rotate your shift because it sounds more fair for the rest of nurses, but if you do not mind to work at other facilities rather than hospitals, then you can always have your day shift. Just some thoughts about it and best luck to you.
  10. I guess the best way is telling the truth. I believe people do give you the second chance since you have accomplished your school with a home care experience, they should look at the whole picture. Best luck to you.
  11. Thanks so much HouTx. I believe any experience helps for now. More I think about the clinic job more I feel to love it since the stress level is so difference than the hospital.
  12. Thanks so much, and it is big encourage and I am sure to verify each time.
  13. Being in a nursing program or being a nurse both are very stressful, and please make sure that you can handle the stress. I do not think you will have a problem to get into the program since you can manage your GPA to 3.5. I believe there are some schools take you in, the only matter is when.
