What type of stethescope should I get for nursing school?

I am starting clinicals this coming fall semester and was wondering; which stethescope should I get. I want one that is good yet still reasonably priced. Any suggestions?

any littmann. I've got my eye on an orange one. :D

Most of our class got the Littmann Classic II SE. Medisave does free engraving. http://www.medisave.net/

Littmann Classic II S.E.

Some students got the Littmann Lightweight which is cheaper than the Classic II (the Lightweight averages around $40-$50 I think...the Classic II averages around $80) but students and nurses alike have told me that they hate the Lightweight, you can't hear very well with it. The acoustics of the Lightweight (5) are low compared to the Classic II (7). Most of my class got the Classic II, including me. I highly recommend it - it's a great scope for students.

I saw splurge a little and buy a more expensive scope instead of a cheapy one. You'll hear better with the expensive one and it will be better to know what to listen for than with a cheap scope.
