What do you think of taking Pharmacology online?

I'm considering taking Pharmacology online this fall semester. I'm enrolled in the LPN program in the fall of 2018, so I have a year to prepare. I've already taken A&P I and A&P II online along with several other classes. I got a B+ in A&P I and a C in A&P II. I could have studied harder for both of those classes. I'm especially not happy with the C. What advice do you have to succeed in an online Pharmacology course? Since I just barely got by in A&P II, do you think I have a good chance of succeeding in Pharmacology?

I found pharmacology to be mostly memorization.. I think you should be fine.

In my opinion, the class will be what you make of it. You can either work diligently and do well, or put it on the back burner and receive an undesirable grade in the class.

As long as you are proactive and you manage your time well, I think you can succeed.

Whether you succeed in an online class really depends on you, your learning style. My pharmacology class was a joke.

I took anatomy, got a B and I took physiology and got a C. My school breaks pharmacology up into three online courses. I took the first one this past Spring and got a B and will be taking the second one this coming Fall. Pharmacology is a lot of memorization, but so was anatomy. I find it easy to remember what's necessary when relating it to the body and how it works (of course). So, you should be more successful in pharm by memorizing it conceptually vs. just using dry memorization, if that makes sense.
