I don't remember where I read it, but 1000 cumulative was acceptable. Also, keep into consideration that most GREs are required by the college you are applying to (the anesthesia program may not care too much about the scores). In other words, it's part of the formal process of applying, but the anesthesia school looks primarily at GPA, and nursing experiences. I've done a lot of personal research about applying to schools. When you are interviewed, elaborate on all of your experience. Your credentials are incredible, they inspire me! I can't wait to learn more about what appears you have mastered. I think you are going to be a shoe-in. Please, have some faith in yourself as a nurse.
Why does everyone with these fabulous credentials go and second guess themselves so much? Heck, my credentials weren't all that, and I got in after only being a nurse for 8 months. The worst that they can say is "no", and then you reapply. So just go ahead and apply already, you'll get in!!!
but will they look at my 380 in verbal on the GRE and kick me out of the pool because of it?? .... Thats pretty pathetic.
No, you won't get kicked out of the pool. The GRE is one of many things used to assess a candidate. If you get accepted to Grad school with the GRE you have, you'll have no problem with anesthesia school. Apply!
