I had a great interview at a hospital and unit I really want to work at. I am very anxious about finding out whether I got the position or not and have a lot on the line. I wrote a follow up email to the unit manager and this is her reply with identifiers changed. What do you make of it? I just want to hopefully ease some anxiety. By the way... the manager is really personable and replied to my email this am shortly after I sent it but I guess hr has to be the one to offer or reject applicant.
Hi xyz!
Thanks for the email...I meant to send something out to you this
week. I am in a conference this week in xyz and I was not able to get the
position wrapped up before I left with hr. I will finish on
Monday am when I return and you should be hearing something shortly after that.
So sorry for taking longer than we expected and thank you for the email!

The manager was very careful to make no promises. She only stated when she would be able to finish up the details with human resources..If you had a good interview and meet their criteria then you have a really good chance!
