What TEAS score did you get & did you get accepted in the nursing program?

Nursing Students TEAS

Published

I took the TEAS exam this morning and got an adjusted individual score of 89.4% overall. I got a 97.5 on reading, 97.8 on math, 83.3 on science, and 83.6 on the English.

I currently have a GPA of 4.0 and I am taking the 3 prereqs for the nursing program now..which are English Comp I, General Psychology, and A&P I.

I have to attend a health information session tomorrow after which I can apply for the internal transfer into the (ADN) Nursing program out of health sciences-general studies.

I am super nervous about the whole process and really hope it all goes well. I am just wondering what scores everyone got on their TEAS and if you got accepted or not into your program.

Thanks!!

Which version of the TEAS did you take?

4.0.:nurse:

I took the 4.0 version. I hear the 5.0 is a tad harder although that's only word on the street.

I don't know. Some have said that the words are rearranged to make it look harder. then some have said the questions are harder. I'm just glad I dont have to take it. I thought the one I took was hard enough.

I hear that. I actually didn't finish the math section because I lost track of time. The last heads up we got was at the ten minute mark. It wasn't hard it just takes some time to work through the steps. I found it a little overkill regarding the length and the inability to use a calculator. I'd much rather have a nurse working on me use a calculator than trying to do the work in their head. LOL!

Update: I got a 95.3 and I was accepted :) :) :) I'm curious to know what I would have gotten on the new version, since I guess the average scores are now lower.

I'm taking the test on May 11th and I found out my school is giving the Version 4 test. My ATI manual says version 3.0 on the inside cover, do you think that's ok? I ordered that book through ATI last fall so I would assume it applies well to the version 4 test since I don't see a version 4 study guide? I bought the Version 5 study guide yesterday before I knew which version they were going to offer and I have to say I only looked through the math and it was different than the version I have. I'm going to take that version back to the store.

I was accepted! I got 93.5 on my first try and on the second I scored lower with a 90.5 haha :)
