What would you do if you were me?

I'm currently in a position where my contract ends end of May. I would get June and July fully paid and then I would look for a part-time job come August (My husband will start working full-time then so I won't be going full-time for a few years due to small kids).

My dilemma is that I am not happy in my position. My days drag, I feel unmotivated, no purpose ect.

I have an interview coming up for a remote job, which I want to get my foot in the door, and pays more money. My plans to go part-time still stand for August, but I don't know if I should wait until May or go.

4 months seems like a long time too.

Opinions?

If staying until May gets you fully paid June and July I would be hard pressed to leave early. If you are entitled to time fully paid either way then it doesn't matter as much.

And if you interview for the better job and get an offer then that changes everything as well. Good luck on the interview and your decision.
