Hi Nurses, just looking for a bit of advice on a job change that could potentially effect my career. I accepted an offer for an outpatient IR position that pays pretty well for a M-F with Saturday call once a week until 1. The pay is competitive to what I make in hospital. I personally want the job but have been told it would be hard for me to get another job inpatient after working outpatient.
I have been working involved critical Care for one year and coworkers and management are encouraging me not to leave but I know o want to go somewhere else. Another option would be PACU inpatient which I'm also interested in but need to tell the outpatient job if I'm still taking job or not. So advice is greatly appreciated 😊

I would go for it if it's something you're really interested in. You can always relearn skills

I see no information that offers any insight into your personality or career goals. What is any advice supposed to be based on? I guess I could flip a coin?
Yes, I am interested in an APN degree in the near future. Most likely an FNP.
