What to do?

Published

I went into nursing to do women's health/neonatal and I am getting so impatient trying to get in! It doesn't help that I hate my current job. I am so close to that 1 year mark, but I am being filtered out because I do not have the 1 year experience most hospitals are looking for.

So what should I be doing to beef up my resume? I am having a hard time finding NRP classes in my area that aren't for hospital employees. I am also considering having my resume professionally done.

I just know this is where I belong and I know I can do it! Thanks for any suggestions!

I agree with SmilingBluEyes. Don't give up on your dream. This current economy will change, and OB departments will again start being willing to train L&D nurses.
