I have terrible study habits and any little thing distracts me. I also have two small children who help in that department as well. Can anyone give me some help/advice on improving my study habits. It just seems like nothing sticks.
I am fortunate as my wife is more than willing to help out watching my 3 year old. The hardest part for me is the time I spend away from him.
As for studying, like the above person said, you have to find what works for you. Me? I like to read the book to learn. A lot of people read and don't retain everything, I try and ACTIVELY read. It takes a bit longer, but the information is not forgotten easily. When you are reading your texts, ask yourself what is important and think of why somebody would want you to learn the information. It seems to help me, but I also draw pictures and diagrams to help myself out too. Good luck.
OP, do you have a neighbor that also has kids? Perhaps yall could work something out to where she takes the kids for one afternoon and then you take them for another.
