I am in the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas. Newer RNs start between $22.50 and $25 hourly at the major hospitals. Hospices, nursing homes, home health agencies, private duty, rehab, and other settings outside of acute care hospitals will pay a new grad in the high $20s to mid $30s per hour.

Specializes in Medical Surgical.

I work in the Chicagoland area and we are making around $26 to start

I am in the area of Akron and Cleveland, Ohio. One of the main hospitals in Cleveland starts new grads at $24.25 a hour plus a dollar an hour for shift differential. The main hospital system in the Akron area starts new grads at $24.63 an hour with $1.50 shift differential.

Specializes in ER, progressive care.

I live in the Fort Hood, TX area (about an hour north of Austin). I started out at $23.50 as a new grad but the hospital I work at has an awesome shift differential for nights. From 1900-0000 it's roughly $3.50 and from 0000-0700 it's close to $6.

I am in TN, and new grads in my area start out around $19 plus shift diffs.
