I am curious as to what the partners of the immigrating nurses ended up working as? Did they end up working in a whole new different branch? Was it something comparitive? Are they enjoying themselves?
The reason I'm asking is because we will soon be moving to USA (no idea where too) and we don't really have a clue as to what my husband will be working. In Germany he is a nurse, but has decided not to do that anymore.
How did you all find jobs?
Was it easy?
Does it depend on the location if it will be harder or easier?
Any input would be greatly appreciated! I want to see my husband happy because it will definetely make the transition easier for all of us!

My position is different in the fatc that my Hubby was medically retired in the UK, so gets a pension.He is a SAHD. If he felt any better he would get a job and he can turn his hand to almost anything and at the end of the day said he would work anywhere doing anything to get some money into the house. Thankfully we dont have to worry about that at the mo, so he looks after the kids and I try to keep him busy with jobs around the house ;-) when he feels up to it!!! LOL

well sue, all i can say is housework and kids are a full time job as we all know :nuke:
