Sounds like you're talking about secondary prevention, which includes things like blood pressure screenings, early detection of diseases, etc. Secondary prevention identifies a problem before it leads to complications. Primary prevention works to prevent disease/illness, secondary works to prevent complications, and tertiary works to prevent disease progression once identified.

My options are:
Acute care,
long term care
care of the dying
early detection and treatment
emergency care.
I chose Acute care, and Emergency care. I was told to pick 2. Am I right?
