Long time lurker, new member here. I have all my pre req courses done with 3.9 gpa and adm certified as a CNA. I am ready to apply for sol next fall but want to increase my chances of being hired once out of school. I have just moved to a new town and plan to work as a CNA once I can come up with daycare arrangements for my kids. I'm not too sure about volunteering. I want to stand out from the crowd once I am in nursing school and at clinical so I can effectively socialize and improve my chances of networking to find job opportunities upon graduation.
Thanks!
ETA I have been accepted into several ADN programs this year but could not attend for financial reasons, however I have been reading the fundamentals text by davis to give me something to think about and look forward to.
