Hey guys,
I am writing up some drug cards and was wondering what "Increase S.R." means. It's a nursing intervention when administering antiemetics.
Thank you in advance!

usually it means slow release/sustained release. How was it used?
Maybe symptom relief?

If your book is using abbreviations, somewhere in the beginning of the book or in an appendix there should be a list of them with explanations of what they mean. Go find it.
"SR" generally means sustained release, but I can't tell from your question whether that's appropriate for your drug or even how it's given in you reading.

Could it be-Sleep and Rest?
It was in a document about antiemetics, and in the nursing implications it had an up arrow and S.R. next to it. MendedHeart, I bet you are right, it is sleep and rest. Thank you so much you guys!
Don't guess, find the table that tells you what the abbreviations mean. Don't ever guess.
There are a ton of medical abbreviations that are for SR. There are lists online. Sleep and rest are on several. Unless your teach gave you specific ones to use, your good.

I honestly have never seen an abbreviation of SR that means sleep and rest. I would definitely take GrnTea's advice and look up the abbreviation in the appendix.
Ive never seen it either but it exists..lol

OP, if you can post exactly what is written, it would be easier to answer. Was it in a sentence? In a list?
Still, the best answer is the previously given one "look it up in the book".
