What Review Book Helped You With NCLEX?

i am entering my last semester of nursing school and i wanted to know if anyone cared to share..

what nclex-pn review book helped you to pass your boards.

i currently have about 4 different ones:

1. saunders

2. mosby

3. davis's

4. prentice hall

i have heard some really good things about saunders and i like the book personally because i think the questions and rationales are very easy to understand and they get straight to the point. but i have heard from a number of people that they thought those questions were nothing compared to the actual nclex.

the most difficult book for me on my list is the prentice hall one. i never score anything higher than in the 60% range and i find the questions very though.

the mosby and davis's are not my favorites because i dont like the way that the book is set up they dont break down each system/section and pharmacology individually except for maternity/pediatrics, fundamentals and mental health.

after all my blabbing my true questions is: did anyone try any of those 4 book that i just listed and passed their boards?

-help i just need a little direction and some honest feedback i dont want to wait until i actually graduate to start reviewing.

thanks in advance

There are many threads discussing this very subject. A lot will depend on what your study style is like but we have had many pass using just Saunders comprehensive book. I used several books and failed twice, I found Saunders just after I failed the second time and used only that plus NCSBN website and passed.

Many people are successful using Saunders Comprehensive Review.
