I am still an ADN student(grad May 2013), but have been recently researching my options.
I would really like to obtain my CNM, but it's looking like it might be best to actually have the NP/CNM license. I am considering Frontier University for my CNM and then DNP eventually(such as several years down the road).
Can anyone tell me what the actual job outlook is for NP's(and/or CNM). Are they finding jobs quickly? How is the pay?
My passion is working with women, so my ultimate goal is working similar to what an OB/GYN would do, including hospital deliveries(or birth center if available)....Is this in the NP scope of job duties?
Thanks for any info!
