I am a foreign nurse who passed the NCLEX-RN exam from Vermont State Board and I have applied for a license transfer to Georgia Board. When I checked my status online, it shows that the PRACTICE REQUIREMENT is pending.
Can someone explain to me what exactly they mean by this requirement?
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.
any response pls.

I am not familiar with Georgia's requirements, but many states require evidence of current practice/competence in order to issue a license.
You may need to provide evidence of recent nursing experience in another area and/or evidence of continuing education.
The BON can provide specific information.
No Experence in US. Recently finished RN from Vermont

I'm not sure what 'Practice Requirements' mean, but the best thing to do is contact the Ga Board of Nursing to get an explanation. Welcome to GA!:wink2:
